When the Fishers, IN warehouse team found themselves with excess product, they found a way to make sure it went to good use.
In December, there were 26 rolls of sheet vinyl at the warehouse that didn’t need to be sent back as a return. Seeing an opportunity to help support their community, Warehouse Manager Tom Brady asked if they could gift it to the Indianapolis Habitat for Humanity, and he was given approval to reach out to the organization. They also partnered with the Dal-Tile warehouse next door to donate eight pallets of tile that were already being taken out of stock.
Together, both teams were able to deliver 28,500 lbs. of flooring, which will be used in helping build homes for those in need in the greater Indianapolis area.
